Recently snowy weather continued for a few days. Snow-fall stopped on last Wednesday. The sun came out. Though the temperature was near zero degree, it was calm and the sun was shining bright. I desired to venture out.

With my wife I rolled out in my Honda Fit through the garage gate, turned left and headed north for a while, then turned south, soon arriving at the Korean Grocery Store that we know. Habitually, we walked around before buying what we needed. Sea salts—two bags of coarse salt and one bag of fine salt—were bought. It was heavy for me carrying them. Then I remembered Jesus' saying that we Christians living in this world ought to be like "salt and light". . . .

While on Kingsway rolling towards the north, approaching Nelson Ave.,

"Where to for lunch?" I asked.

My wife softly said: "Cattle Café".

"To my surprise!" I muted. . . .

Quickly I changed to lane one as no vehicles were following behind, and then turned right. The parking entrance is on the opposite left side of the street. After having parked my car, we strolled to the Cattle Café.

It was not crowded. We were ushered to a table near the window. Looking out, we saw Starbucks close by on the side. The sky was azure. I couldn't help but to take a snapshot with my cell phone. Thank you my Lord, God!

The waiter came along. My wife would have Curry Chicken with rice. I wished to have Veggie Curry. But the menu had been changed. The waiter recommended to me Curry Fish with rice, which I also like. At that time in a tranquil environment, we prayed, giving thanks to God for gifting us a cozy place to enjoy our lunch.

On our return trip, it was about 3:00 P.M. It's opportune tea time. I drove my Honda Fit towards South on Nelson Ave. We arrived at the Manderville Garden Café where we often frequent. My wife bought a flower pot. I thought that might be one of the potted plants at home needed to be replaced. To plant indoor tropical plants is her loving hobby. She has achieved good results because she not only cares for the plants with love but also prays to heavenly Father for their protection. In observing of the plants in their miraculous growing progress, all the more we want to praise our God in His mysterious creation.

I walked close to the Coffee counter where I ordered a pot of tea (i.e., a Red Rose tea beg), and a blueberry biscuit. Browsing through the window on the right, I found our Honda Fit just parked outside. I took a snap shot of it with my cell phone. Thank you my Lord, God!

Life sometimes is simple—secure and safe, without worry, realizing the presence of God. God reminds me: "However many years a man may live, let him enjoy them all. But let him remember the days of darkness, for they will be many. Everything to come is meaningless (Ecclesiastes 11:8). Dependent on the love of Jesus Christ, the grace of heavenly Father and the lead of the Holy Spirit, remember our Lord, our Creator until we'll see His face. Amen!
