在一般人的心目中，白鴿給人的印象，是純潔、和平。在不少的婚禮賀咭和佈置中，白鴿也是其中一個主要的選擇。而烏鴉，總給人一種不大好的感覺。很多人會認為，牠們的出現，會帶來不吉祥的事情。這可能是由於許多的恐怖影片的拍攝手法，都以烏鴉來代表邪惡、荒涼。因此，提起烏鴉，就令人有不好的感覺。

上個月，貓太認識了一位初信耶穌的姊妹。她在今年的年頭，被確診患上癌症。感謝神！病情發現得早，因此，手術後無需任何跟進的治療。到今年的五月，因身體不適去求診，醫生根據她過往的病情，替她抽血檢驗。報告顯示她的癌指數比正常高出一些，於是安排她再作進一步的檢查。姊妹得知這個情況，心想可能是癌症復發了，因此，心情當然不會好過。在等待排期檢查的日子，教會中有一位好姊妹，得知她心情難過，於是請假陪伴她外出散心。

一天晚上，貓太正預備上一個關於關懷癌症病人的課程。上課前，約了同學們一起吃點東西才上課。碰巧這兩位姊妹經過我吃東西的地方。就在這個非常偶然的機會之下，貓太與這位姊妹遇上了。其實我並不認識那個患病的姊妹，而與那位陪伴她的姊妹，也只是點頭之交。基於禮貌，便與她們遙遠點點頭，打個招呼便算。怎知那位陪伴的姊妹，竟然走過來，將患病的姊妹介紹給我認識。在這次相遇之前，貓太已從母會肢體的電話群組中，知道有位姊妹患病的消息，而這位姊妹，也從肢體中，得知有一個曾患癌病的姊妹。但因貓太在其他教會事奉。因此，大家從未見過面。


這次的遇上，全是神特意的安排，讓兩位素未謀面的癌症康復者相遇在一起。貓太知道患病姊妹現在最需要的是陪伴，但因著那天晚上，貓太要上課。所以，貓太相約姊妹第二天再見面。第二天見面時，患病姊妹對我說：「我今早見到窗外有一隻白鴿，相信必是神差派來。」她繼續問我：「白鴿代表和平，我是否不會有事？」正當不知怎樣回答時，感謝神，讓我想起供養以利亞先知的烏鴉。於是我問她：「若你今早見到的是烏鴉，而不是白鴿，你會怎樣？」姊妹想了想，說：「烏鴉？我沒有想過。烏鴉代表不好，我想我的病必定是凶多吉少。」原來姊妹未聽過這個聖經的事蹟。於是，我就向她說出，記載在舊約聖經，關於神怎樣差派烏鴉，來供養以利亞先知的事蹟。神讓先知可以在饑荒的一段日子中，因著神的差派，每天都有烏鴉將餅和肉叼來，供應先知的需要。我對她說：「無論看到甚麼都不緊要，最緊要知道，神是與你同在，祂仍然掌管。」


幾天之後，姊妹到醫院抽取組織檢查，但負責的醫生說看不到有任何腫瘤，沒有組織可抽取。姊妹還未放心，隔了兩天，再找另一位專科醫生作檢查。專科醫生說：「醫院那個儀器是最先進，看得最清楚的，他們找不到腫瘤，我也不會找到。」


『洪水泛濫之時，耶和華坐著為王；耶和華坐著為王，直到永遠。耶和華必賜力量給他的百姓；耶和華必賜平安的福給他的百姓。詩篇29篇10-11節』

當我們看環境時，實在有些因素，會令我們心裡不安。不過，我們要超越這種只看環境的眼光。我們要從環境中，轉眼仰望神，看到在環境背後的神，祂仍然掌管，祂仍然坐著為王，且要將力量和平安賜給相信祂並倚靠祂的人。


不論是白鴿還是烏鴉，只是要神所派來的，都有神的祝福。在我們的生命，不論是有病還是沒有病，只要是屬於神，由神掌管，神必定會負責，且必會賜下力量與平安，讓我們可以安然渡過。有了神，一切可放心。

謙卑 Humility

• 敬畏耶和華是智慧的訓誨；尊榮以前，必有謙卑。箴言 15:33
Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the LORD, and humility comes before honor. Proverbs 15:33

• 敬畏耶和華心存謙卑，就得富有、尊榮、生命為賞賜。箴言 22:4
Humility is the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honor and life. Proverbs 22:4

• 凡事不可結黨，不可貪圖虛浮的榮耀；只要存心謙卑，各人看別人比自己強。腓立比書 2:3

驕傲 Pride

嫉妒 Envy

• 不要為作惡的心懷不平，也不要向那行不義的生出嫉妒。詩篇 37:1
Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong. Psalm 37:1

• 心中安靜是肉體的生命；嫉妒是骨中的朽爛。箴言 14:30
A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. Proverbs 14:30

生氣 Anger

• 好生氣的人，不可與他結交；暴怒的人，不可與他來往。箴言 22:24

災難 Calamity

• 民要攻打民、國要攻打國、多處必有地震、饑荒．這都是災難的起頭。馬可福音 13:8
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains. Mark 13:8

憂愁 Worry

• 你們不要憂愁、因靠耶和華而得的喜樂是你們的力量。尼希米記 8:10
Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

• 主雖使人憂愁, 還要照他諸般的慈愛發憐憫。耶利米哀歌 3:32
Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. Lamentations 3:32

患難 Trouble, Suffering

• 義人多有苦難，但耶和華救他脫離這一切。詩篇 34:19
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all. Psalm 34:19

• 神是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們在患難中隨時的幫助！詩篇 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

• 耶和華本為善，在患難的日子為人的保障，並且認得那些投靠他的人。那鴻書 1:7
The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7
