【事事關心】從廣島看南中國海的局勢

上月11日,日本藉「七大工業國集團」(G7)會議之機會,安排出席會議的美英法等國外長造訪廣島和平紀念公園,獲所有 G7 成員國外長「捧場」,向原爆罹難者紀念碑獻花,創出廣島原爆七十年來,二次大戰盟國在任外長首度造訪的紀錄。更值得留意,美國國務卿克里(John Kerry) 也在場, 突破美國政府不成文的禁忌,此舉對日本及東亞鄰國來說,意義非比尋常。

本來這些政要若出於反省和平的可貴而作此行,他們此舉是無可厚非,因為對於基督徒而言,和平 、仁愛和喜樂,都是我們所重視的美德。固然,許多時候聖經提及和平時更注重個人自己的心境、精神狀態,但耶穌基督一生的使命和教導其實不單只限於個人與神的關係,也涉及到人際、國際關係的和平。問題是怎樣的人際和國家之間的和平才真正合乎基督的心意?

不過,這些歐美國家的政要卻忽略其行動沒有令日本政府反省﹐為何它令其國民承受如此悲慘的結果,那是因為引致日本承受原子彈的災害的原因﹐是由於日本偷襲珍珠港、侵略中國和整個東南亞。

1945 年 5 月初,隨著美、英和蘇聯軍隊攻陷柏林,德國無條件投降, 歐洲重獲和平。然而,在東方的亞洲,日本雖然節節敗退而面臨美國大軍登陸其國土,其政府和全國不少國民仍然堅持不肯投降。日本海、空軍力於 1945 年當時雖然接近瓦解,但其陸軍那種寧死不屈的武士道精神,造成美國攻打其南方的沖繩島時死傷軍兵約十萬人。因此美國政府估計,若美國要登陸日本﹐迫使其政府投降,美軍極大可能再傷亡十多二十萬人。基於這個估計死傷數字,美國不得不用兩個原子彈來迫使日本就範。

美國國務卿在參觀後表示震撼於「戰爭的災禍」,而且建議總統奧巴馬也該來此地看看,那就正中日本下懷。現任安倍政府打出廣島悲情牌,不斷宣傳要維護和平,卻閉口不談日軍二戰侵略、屠殺超過以千萬計的無辜亞洲人民,這罪行才是原爆災難的肇因。由此可見,日本政府還沒有真正引領和教導其國民為二次大戰的罪行悔改 !

若要全面認識日本對亞洲國民的災害,G7 歐美和日本等國政要應該去韓國與中國,親身參觀南京大屠殺和韓國相關的紀念館,那才是有建設性的哀思和引導世人反省和平意願的正確做法。

留意時事的人都應該明白,日本現任安倍政府利用廣島打悲情牌,無非是希望爭取歐美國家在釣魚島和南海島嶼爭議上為其撐腰。日本不單要咬著釣魚島不放,而且更開始與菲律賓、越南和印尼聯手,慫恿這些東南亞國家為了南海島嶼的主權與中國作角力糾纏。

從歷史而觀,中國明朝太監鄭和已於 15 世紀初開始「下西洋」,前後 7 次經過南中國海,通過印尼和馬來亞之間的馬六甲海峽到達印度洋地區的國家,這是現今不少西方歷史學者也認同的歷史事實。根據明、清朝時代留存下來的文獻和地圖,十分肯定中國於 19 世紀之前已經將南海一些島嶼列入中國版圖,所以現今中國政府堅持它擁有南海島嶼的主權,是源於站得住腳的歷史根據。

當然,我作為基督徒也希望中國和日本對於釣魚島的爭執不會演變成一場戰爭,那對於愛好和平的兩國人民都是再一次的災害。所以,願望華人和日本的基督徒都將此事放在經常祈禱的事項中。基督徒能夠在行動上幫助中、日兩國放棄以暴力解決這爭執, 相信也是主基督所喜悅的信仰操練 :

"使人和平的人有福了,因為他們必稱為神的兒子。"(新譯本,馬太福音 5:9)

謙卑 Humility

敬畏耶和華心存謙卑,就得富有、尊榮、生命為賞賜。箴言 22:4
Humility is the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honor and life. Proverbs 22:4

凡事不可結黨,不可貪圖虛浮的榮耀;只要存心謙卑,各人看別人比自己強。腓立比書 2:3
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves. Philippians 2:3

嫉妒 Envy

生氣 Anger

當止住怒氣,離棄忿怒;不要心懷不平,以致作惡。詩篇 37:8
Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. Psalm 37:8

好生氣的人,不可與他結交;暴怒的人,不可與他來往。箴言 22:24

災難 Calamity

憂愁 Worry

你們不要憂愁、因靠耶和華而得的喜樂是你們的力量。尼希米記 8:10
Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

主雖使人憂愁, 還要照他諸般的慈愛發憐憫。耶利米哀歌 3:32
Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. Lamentations 3:32

凡勞苦擔重擔的人,可以到我這裡來,我就使你們得安息。馬太福音 11:28

患難 Trouble, Suffering

神是我們的避難所,是我們的力量,是我們在患難中隨時的幫助!詩篇 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

耶和華本為善,在患難的日子為人的保障,並且認得那些投靠他的人。那鴻書 1:7
The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7
